The ANT-60A ADF antenna processes the radio signal in a Radio Frequency Amplifier module to provide a 50-Ω output to the ADF-60 Receiver. The ANT-60B is a dual ADF antenna that processes the radio signal in the Radio Frequency Amplifier module to provide two independent 50-Ω outputs to two ADF-60 Receivers. Both the ANT-60A and the ANT-60B receive and process radio signals to provide bearing information to the ADF-60 Receiver. The ADF-60 system consists of an ANT-60A or an ANT-60B Antenna and an ADF-60A or ADF-60B Receiver. The ANT-60 design integrates the sense and loop antennas and a Radio Frequency Amplifier module into a single unit. The colocation of antennas results in a simplified installation and reduced maintenance costs. The ANT-60A Antenna is packaged in a tear-shaped fiber-glass cover. The ANT-60A measures 16.5in x 8.5in x 1.7 in and the weight is 3.1lb. A 10-pin type connector is located on the base plate of the ANT-60A and provides all electrical connections. The temperature range is -65° to +71° C, and the frequency range is 190 to 1749.5 kHz.
