The CTL-62 is used to tune the ADF-462 radio in the normal
range of 190 to 1799.5 kHz and 2179 to 2185 kHz. The CTL-62 is a family
of microprocessor based controls that is used for controlling the original
Pro Line ADF-60 and TDR-90 radios. With the use of a CAD-62 Control Adapter
which converts serial tuning data to parallel tuning
data. The CTL-62 scans operator controls and discrete inputs
for frequency and mode data as well as operating configuration.
The CTL-62 can be configured to accept serial tuning data supplied from
an external system. The CTL-62 provides nonvolatile storage of preset
frequencies besides the active and preselect frequencies that are displayed.
The CTL-62 also displays the diagnostic data received from the
radio.
